The app plays a note, you sing it back, and a line follows your voice as you sing. Hold it in the band and it counts.

Is it free?

It's free to start, with no card and no account. Each instrument has free packs to start with, and part of every locked pack is free to play. An instrument pass unlocks everything for that instrument.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Voiceturi runs in your browser on phone, tablet or computer. If you like, add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen like an app.

Is my microphone recorded?

No. The sound is analysed on your device to find the pitch, then thrown away. Nothing you sing or play is uploaded.

Do I need a real piano or guitar?

For piano and guitar, yes. Play along on your own instrument while the app shows you what to play. “Test yourself” listens through the mic and tells you which notes you got right. A MIDI keyboard works too, in browsers that support it.

I'm a complete beginner. Is it for me?

Yes. Every instrument starts from the very first step and unlocks the next lesson as you go.
